Water // if your container has drainage holes, water thoroughly once a week. If your container does not have drainage holes, water sparingly to moisten soil but be sure water does not pool up at the bottom of container which can cause rotting. Ensure all excess water is removed immediately. Allow soil to dry between waterings.
Light // cacti love sunlight, remember they come from the desert. Place cacti in a brightly lit window or an area with bright indirect light if outdoors.
Soil // cacti like soil that is well aerated and fast draining. Cactus/succulent mix is best if you wish to repot it.
Fertilizer // For optimum plant health, fertilize with an all-purpose houseplant food from April through October, following label directions. For all other months, fertilize half as often.
